Beehive, 12 Robinhood Lane, Poplar

The address was 45 Ashton Street in 1881, although the pub is now long-demolished. The enclosure  shows the entrance to Blackwall Tunnel. The Beehive is visible to the right hand side of the view. The photograph probably dates from around 1899. **
